Photography

Artist introduction:

My photographic images allow me to preserve special moments that reflect how it was and may never be seen again.

As a photographer, I have chosen “capturing the moment” rather than “creating the moment “as my mission. With all the new editing techniques and software available to photographers today, I strive to maintain this “capturing the moment “philosophy. My subjects vary from state-of-the-art air superiority aircraft in the air or on the ground, local wildlife in motion or resting, and occasionally our local icons.

In 1965 I graduated from Milton high school just 16 miles East of Pensacola. I joined the United States Air Force in 1966 and soon after this I developed an interest in photography. During my 20-year career, I traveled the world taking advantage of every interesting photo opportunity that I ran across. My fascination with photography and “capturing the moment “continues today. I was juried into the Blue Morning Gallery in 2013 as an exhibiting artist in photography. I can say that for me it has been a great experience working with the other talented artists at the Gallery and having such a great venue to share my art with locals and our visitors from around the world. If you are reading this bio, you are either at my wall space or at the Blue Morning Gallery’s fantastic new website and having a great time. I will mention that my art can be up or down sized, different matte colors or frame styles and finishes. (Many of my frames are created by me from locally obtained rough-cut Cypress lumber.) Contact me by phone or email with your request. My phone number and email address are located on my business cards at my wall space in the Gallery.
