As an artist, Melinda Giron has worked with various media-floristry, painting, mixed media, and jewelry and has a passion for ceramic arts.
“As a three-dimensional media, I find working with clay freeing as there are many options of form, texture, colors, and techniques from which to choose from.
I love working with clay to construct decorative vessels and figurative sculptural objects that convey and express emotion or surroundings.
My inspiration for a piece can come from artwork, a verbal expression, a feeling, or even a dream.
As a ceramic artist, I love how tangible clay is..exploring and transforming a lump of clay into something expressive can be challenging and yet so much fun and satisfying!”
