This month’s featured show, ADORN, celebrates wearable art that’s soulful, thoughtful, and anything but mass-produced. Featuring jewelry artists Chris Rojas and Marcia Shedeck. Both artists bring their own distinct voice to their collections, blending craftsmanship, texture, and personal storytelling into pieces meant to be worn, gifted, and cherished.
Join us for the First Friday Artist Reception on February 6 from 5:30–7:30 PM. IT will be an evening of art, conversation, and sparkle as we celebrate the opening of ADORN. The show will be up from January 25 through February 21.
Christine Rojas works primarily in sterling silver, using traditional wire-weaving techniques inspired by Viking-era craftsmanship. Her process is built on patience, finger strength, and practiced control, beginning with simple two-wire weaves and evolving into more complex forms. Christine enjoys the rhythmic, meditative nature of weaving and often incorporates pearls, stones, and wave-inspired elements to create timeless, tactile jewelry.

Marcia Shedeck creates handmade jewelry using reclaimed copper, thoughtfully embellished with natural stones, crystals, pearls, fossils, and glass. Her pieces are oxidized using liver of sulfur, then carefully buffed and tumble-finished with steel shot to achieve a rich, distinctive patina. Each piece carries its own character, celebrating transformation, texture, and the beauty of reclaimed materials.
