Hello, my name is Kristen Carter, wife, mother and U.S. Army veteran. Art has been a passion of mine since grade school. I started with acrylic painting and later tried my hand at wood burning and carving. Glass came to me first in stained form and not long after I discovered glass fusing. I quickly fell in love with the creative freedom, allowing me to create pieces that blend glass and painting. I called Quayside Art Gallery my studio home for two years, then moved over to First City Arts Center. Recently, I became a member of Artel Gallery and have started working with First City to set up and teach classes on Fused Glass.
