I’ve lived at or near a beach my whole life. Growing up on the Jersey shore, I loved the beach and all of its treasures (sand, sea glass, shells, and driftwood) from an early age. I have also enjoyed the woods, creeks, streams, stones, rocks, leaves and trees that are inland as well. I absolutely adore nature’s gifts, and as a result, I have collections of rocks, pebbles, driftwood, shells, and sand (from different beaches around the world) that I love to look at for inspiration and use in my creations. I have been creating “things” my whole life. So it was only natural that I studied art in college and graduated with a degree in graphic design. I have followed a creative path ever since.
Recently I have begun studying metalsmithing and cloisonné enamel. It has been an unexpectedly delightful journey, with the thought “What if I … ?” continually capturing my imagination, sparking my curiosity, and propelling me forward.
I’ve blended my background in graphic design with my love for natural things and newly discovered creative outlet to design pendants, earrings, and other jewelry that I hope gives you as much joy to look at and wear as it does me to make.
