I live in Elberta AL with my Hubby and 1 dog and 2 cats. I have a small studio in our home where I do many creations. I am a Professional Seamstress/Costume Designer making costumes for theatre and recitals. I am also a Professional Floral Designer having worked in local shops and freelance work and a Jewelry Designer which is my love and what I do for Festivals and Galleries.
I strive to create Unique Wearable Art for the adventurous……
I started noticing beautiful copper scraps everywhere while building our home and thought it was so pretty and maybe I can make something with it. So down the rabbit hole I went reading and watching everything I could get my hands on for wire working and weaving. I now have a studio full of tools and stones of every kind. I keep it full of inspiration and pull from my many other artistic backgrounds. Florals and insects make their way into my designs often and I’m always hunting for more rocks and fossils. Nature inspires me. God’s Creation is the greatest artform to learn from.
Finding out other people enjoyed my art and what I came up with just out of little bits of copper gave me confidence to pursue promoting and selling my designs at Art Festivals and Art Galleries. It makes my heart full to see someone in public wearing my work and recognizing me to show it off. That keeps me motivated and my creativity flowing. Returning clients are not just a great support to continue doing what I love but have become dear friends I will always treasure.
