Blue Morning Gallery 3D artists are preparing new work for the upcoming featured artist show. We look forward to showcasing it for you to view and purchase.

The participating artists in this show are listed below:

Mark Schmidt’s art consists of hand-cut tiles and custom frames showcasing a variety of subjects in wall hangings and tables.

Brenda Woods uses gourds to create whimsical art and “Gourd Boards” that will surely bring a smile or giggle.

Tammy Caspersen’s pottery features local sea life and beach themes and is designed to be both functional and safe for food use.

Susie Shaw enjoys expressing peacefulness, nature, and fun in her artwork, enjoying and exploring during the process.

Anita Vasquez has been captivated by the beauty of glass for decades. Drawn to its vibrant colors and unique clarity. She focuses on nature with waves, ocean scenes, and flowers.

Lynn Zehr is a felt artist who creates whimsical figures and wall hangings which captivate viewers and she embraces a number of themes in her work.

Sue Woodson is our resident monster maker and sculptor. Sue herds in a gaggle of monsters, a school of fish and a bevy of beautiful vases that demonstrate her various styles of ceramic sculpture.

Kristen Carter is a fused glass artist who composes and bends glass, glass rods and murine to create modern and classical brilliantly colored forms.

Gretchen Paux is a potter who continually stretches her creative muscles in producing decorative and functional wares that would bring color, texture and beauty to any home.

Lois Manning creates handbuilt pottery inspired by her love of nature using real leaves, texture and earthy colors to add an artistic touch to decorative and functional ware pottery.

Dannis Young rounds out the group with warm and inviting wood work, turned objects and functional wares with a variety of adornments and finishes for just about any woodworking art enthusiast.

The show will be on display from 31 August through 27 September.

A celebration of art is scheduled for First Friday, September 5th, from 5:30 – 7:30 PM. We hope you’ll join us for refreshments and a meet and greet.
