This March, Blue Morning Gallery presents Different Strokes, a collaboration between painters George Taylor and AG Tapscott. Though both artists work in paint and drawing, their approaches reveal distinct personalities, techniques, and interpretations — a thoughtful contrast that makes this show both dynamic and engaging.
George Taylor works primarily in pen & ink and watercolor, creating detailed, lighthearted pieces designed to make people smile. His steady hand and refined technique bring warmth and personality to each composition.
AG Tapscott brings expressive energy and confident draftsmanship to the wall. Known for sketching live portraits around the gallery, he captures personality in just a few strokes, adding immediacy and movement to his work.
Together, their contrasting approaches — precision and spontaneity — make Different Strokes a compelling study in how two painters can share a medium yet speak in completely different visual languages.
